Cucumber agar agar jelly

This is also another cucumber dish.
I like to cook cucumber dish in summer time because crunchiness of cucumber make me more appetite.
This Cucumber jelly made with agar-agar as I name it, and looks so colorful.

ingredients

  • A
    • 1 cucumber grated
    • 200 ml Japanese mountain yam (Dioscorea opposita ) grated
    • 1/2 spoon salt
  • 300 ml water
  • 4g agar agar
  • mustard or wasabi
  • soy sauce

recipe

  1. Combine all ingredients A
  2. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in agar-agar. Lower heat and boil gently for 1-2minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add 1 (ingredients A) to the 2 (saucepan)and stir well and Remove from heat
  4. Place them to plastic container, cool them down. put refrigerator to jellify
  5. Take off jelly from container, cut them in cubes.

Serve with soy sauce and musturd (or wasabi)!
