Grilled Cucumber with Salsa sauce
This is another cucumber dish.
I find out cucumber is really tasty after grilled and go well with simple salsa sauce.
Here is recipe.
- 1 Japanese cucumber* cut half inch wide diagonally
- Salt & Pepper
- flour
- Olive oil
- Salsa sauce
- 1 tomato small diced
- 1/4 red onion minced **
- 1/8 green bell pepper minced
- 1 scallion minced
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 salt
- ciantro minced
**Preparing Onion (option): Sprinkle salt to onion and set aside until soft. Rinse them and strain.
recipe
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on cucumber. then dredge in little bit flour using tea strainer
- Frying pan, add olive oil and cook cucumber to a beautiful brown in both side.
- Mix all ingredients for salsa sauce
- place grilled cucumber on your plate, and add salsa sauce on the top
I recommend using Japanese cucumber (Kyuri). If you cannot find it, use small cucumber or Zucchini.
