Do they look like dragon’s eye?
This is the fruit called “longan” and popular in Asia.
Longan also known as “dragon’s eye” (because of an ovoid, white eye shaped mark on the pit).
Chinese people believe it brings you lot of benefit, and happiness.
Longan is used as remedy for stomach ache, insomnia, amnesia, and dropsy.
It is bery similar like Lychee fruit but the fruit is more tasty!
This is season now. When you see this fruit in the street (mostly in Chinatown), please try it!!

wonderful to learn about longan..I tasted this fruit lassst week in Tamilnadu India.the taste was so sweet and wonderful…i began to cleect seeds to try in My lands …
