Have you ever tried this vegetable?
This is Bitter melon. As you see from name, it taste bitter but it is extremely helpful in curbing diabetes mellitus or commonly known as blood sugar.
Bitter melon is rich in calcium, iron, beta-carotene, and vitamins B and C.
When you feel sick because of summer heat, this vegetable help you to give energy.
Here is the recipe.
ingredients
- 1 better melon
- A
- 1 cube garlic sliced
- 100 ml soy sauce (or my all purpose soy sauce)
- 100 ml Mirin or rice wine
- 3-5 tablespoon sugar
recipe

| 3. | cook them in boiling water about 1-2 min and strain. |
| 4. | Make sauce: in the sauce pan, combine all ingredients A, bring them to just shy of boiling (to mix with sugar). remove from heat |
| 5. | soak bitter melon in the sauce about 30 min |
