kabocha squash bun with miso
I like having dim sum in weekend with family.
Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. It is usually served in the mornings until noon time at Chinese restaurants.
Since most of dishes has meat / fish inside, I always thought about if we can find any dim sum place for vegan….
So I created vegetarian style dim sum….(It is not typical recipe but this is one my favorite recipe recently…)
Here is the recipe.
ingredients
- Bun
- 1/2 cup steamed kabocha
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tablespoon whole wheat flour
- Miso paste
- 1/2 onion minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon miso
- black sesami
- sesami oil
recipe
- Add ingredients of Bun and divide them into eight pieces.
- In the sauce pan, add sesami oil, onion and saute until soft and light brown. Mix with miso and divide into eight and set aside
- flatten bun (recipe 1) Put about filling into the center. Add black sesame on the top
- In the pan, add sesami oil, and do those buns brown
