Tofu veggie burger sandwich

I started to cook vegan style food for my lunch 3 month ago. The reason why I started is I have allergy, and doctor told me not have daily product.
This big veggie burger sandwich was my husband’s lunch on last Friday. It seems he liked this Tofu Veggie burger Sandwich !!
Here is my Tofu Veggie burger Sandwich recipe. I hope you like it.
ingredients (Serves 7-8)
- 1 Firm Tofu : Please drain a tofu
- 1 onion, diced finely
- 2 green pepper, diced finely
- 3 mushroom, chopped finely
- 2 cups oats
- 2 cups bread crumbs (panko)
- 3.5 oz peanut, crushed
- 1.7 oz flower
- nutmeg / coriander / turmeric / salt, pepper
- 2 teaspoons Miso *
- 1 teaspoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Bread, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, soy mayonnaise
recipe
- In a large saucepan, saute Onion, green pepper, mushroom until onion gently brown. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and put aside
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl.knead the mixture a bit until it feels sticky.
- Form into patties about 4 inches round and about 1/2 inch thick (not too thin).
- Saute then in a frying pan coated with cooking oil.
Note: If you cook too much, or If you cannot finish all, you can put freezer after 2.
Serve on your favorite bread or buns with lettuce and tomatoes, and sprouts, etc…
I usualy use soy mayonnaise, and ketchup on your sandwich.
This was my lunch in last Friday too.
