When I was kid, I like to have milk and cheese…but I became allergy for daily product. My husband cannot have daily product with similar reason too.

So I use this stew with soy milk, but I make taste like cheese and creemy.
Soy milk + tahini + miso makes creamy stew!! This is also kids friendly meal.

ingredients(serves 3-4)

  • 1-2 any kind potato (I used 1 big sweek potato this time) cut into bite-size
  • 1-2 carrot cut into bite-size
  • 1 package mushroom
  • 1/2 onion minced
  • some green vegetable (such as Spinach, broccori. I used qing-geng-cai in this time)
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cups water
  • A
    • 3 tablespoon tahini
    • 2 cups soy milk
    • 2 tablespoon miso
    • 1 teaspoon salt

recipe

  1. In the pan, add canola oil, saute onion and mushroom until light brown
  2. In the pot, add 1, carrot, potato and cook over midium heat. after boiled, turn to lower heat andleave them about 10 min
  3. add spinach, ingredients A and cook with lower heat about 2-3 min until it boils.
