kabocha Rice Porridge Soup

Kabocha is Japanese winter squash. This vegetable is very sweet and tasty. I cook often this vegetable in winter season. I cook Rice Porridge Soup with kabocha and left over my brown rice. It is good for your breakfast.

Kabocha squash and peanut rice medley

I like kabocha pumpkin a lot. This is one of my favorite dish, and very easy to make. If you have rice cooker, just put all ingredients in there, let them cook. This style of rice dish, we call takikomi gohan. (cooking style is very similar to Paella food.) Here is my recipe

Nutty Kabocha pumpkin

2 days ago, I found kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) at store, and I bought it. kabocha is Japanese variety of winter squash and contains lot of beta carotene, vitamin C, vitamin B1 and B2 and more, and very tasty. (it sweet and taste like more sweet potato.) Here is Nutty kabocha pumpkin dish recipe.
