Sushi Ball (temari sushi) is very simple way to make sushi at home and looks very pretty.
As temari means thread balls in Japanese, temarizushi, or temari sushi, are small and ball-shaped sushi. Temari sushi are usually cooked on happy occasions. These are easy to eat sushi and good for parties.

black sesame spaghetti with root vegetables

I cooked tahini paste based spaghetti with root vegetables such as gobo (burdock root), renkon (lotus root), carrot.
Look like Halloween color!!
In Japan, I use black sesame paste for this dish, but this time, I added black sesami in tahini.
Recipe is really simple.

This is also another cucumber dish.
I like to cook cucumber dish in summer time because crunchiness of cucumber make me more appetite.
This Cucumber jelly made with agar-agar as I name it, and looks so colorful.

I noticed that fried baboo shoot is very similar in texture with fried chicken like I titled.
Since I season them with soy sauce, sake, ginger juice beforehand, it has rich taste too.
Also baboo shoot has lot of fiber and helps lower cholesterol!
